What this means for sourcing
An ingredient approved in Korea is not automatically permitted elsewhere. Importers should
verify status with their own authority. Conversely, Korean approval demonstrates that a dossier
on safety and function was reviewed under a national regulatory system, which many buyers treat
as a meaningful signal.
Regulatory approvals described on this page were issued by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea and are valid in South Korea only. They are not health claims in your jurisdiction and have not been evaluated by the FDA, EFSA, or any other authority. This page reports regulatory facts; it does not recommend or endorse any product.
